A person named Janet call from CDC check whether I got a job. Don’t know who is she? Not my career consultant.July 26, 2010
Monday, MP wanted to see me as well as I intended to see him on that day! Told me wait for call from IMH for the clarification matter. I wondered is it a good solution to go back to the place again? Create another dead path for me.July 21, 2010
MP referred me to e2i for employment assistance. A stupid guy made me wait; didn’t give me a queue ticket and I had to ask for it! Alicia Seah scheduled appointment at 2pm, but made me wait for about an hour (just 3 people only waiting their turn to their respective career consultant). Insincere some more, she giggled at my plight! Didn't she hear I said, “Is not funny!” In the end, she wanted a clarification to prove that I’m OK to fit for the job, so that she can offer me a job. Is MP trying to fool me? Wasted my trip to get there! I was mad with disappointment! (Since 2008, I had been attended a 2 weeks free course at e2i to get “WSQ Certificate in Generic Manufacturing Skills”, but no employers care to take a look at it. After 1 year of trying at e2i, I gave up, no result, just like Job Fairs to me.) July 12, 2010
Monday, I went to seek MP for help again. Complain too long no response from CDC. People just pretended to work for a living! Who will really care! They just dragged me for many months or years, that all!April, 2010
My case reassigned to Suryana (CDC Career Consultant) who offered me a full-time job, wasn’t matched to my qualification, just S$800 only. I rejected, because I had been laughed by many people for working low pay jobs. I don’t know how to write in my resume anymore, it make me feel low, without dignity. People might think something wrong with me.Nov 5, 2009
THE STRAITS TIMES published “59 firms lauded for hiring the mentally ill”. It never happened to me at IMH. I find jobs all by my own! Why not they mentioned need to pay for the medical reports clarification after recovery! What up? Cover up your sin; did some things bad behind me? It only for certain people, selected one, not for all! Perhaps, they just offered low pay demotion jobs or weekend’s jobs, nobody like to do.Oct 20, 2009
MP referred me to CDC for employment assistance. My case reassigned to Rosemaniah (Career Consultant). Consider person sometime did make calls to check on me, but no suitable job offered.Oct 12, 2009
Monday, I went with my mum to seek MP for help regarding of IMH causing me can’t find any stable jobs because of my medical record.Oct 5, 2009
Another social worker (Xianglu) called me wanted a reply from me about the medical reports fee. I considered not paying for the medical reports clarification from the past I had been sick for so damn long! Why didn’t they give me in the first place after I had recovered from my illness? Now they wanted me to pay! Discrimination always there, doesn’t help me to get a good job that matched my qualifications!Oct 2, 2009
Social worker (name sounded like Uniece) called me. Told me medical reports fee more than S$400. I needed time to consider.Sep 15, 2009
I went to IMH with my mum; complained IMH causing me having difficulties finding jobs for all these years, and I requested the medical reports clarification, but (Kai) the assistant from the IMH told me to wait for call from a social worker regarding the medical reports fee.May, 2009
EPCOS – worked as a Production Assistant (Permanent part-time weekends job), low pay but can hide during weekends, nobody knows. In the end, came the termination of service again! What the company said there a change of new management. Same as other jobs in Singapore, they just asked me to quit or take advantage, abuse me to make me quit! The different is must fill in a consent form to allow them check on my medical record, no privacy at all! That what I hated about this company!Oct 20, 2008
I went to CDC for employment assistance. My case assigned to Ravinthiren (Career Consultant). He offered some job postings websites and offered me to attend a free short course “Certified Service Professional” in the year 2009. But no suitable job offered from him.Aug, 2008
Wincor Nixdorf – My colleague (Yanting) passed me a message from the HR department, I’m not suitable for the job because of my medical illness from the past. The company checked on me. Thanks for letting me know the actual problem is; the reason being terminated or asked to resign from my service for so many times, working only a short period. Nothing is wrong with me. Is the people discriminated me from the past I had been sick! It was just a Depression. Why people treated me as a convict or a disease?
