In school time, no one approached me to apply for bursary; I need to approach to ask for it, just want to lighten the burden on my family income. Didn’t they have the details of my family; we’re belonged to the low income group! Feel like a beggar some more need to queue up in a ceremony, be named to received the award just enough to pay part of my school fee! I didn’t feel honor and proud of it at all. Who will remember me! I rather received the cheque through by mail or received from a department without any ceremony!
Many charities always created in Singapore. Because our government unable to care for all. Always the only selected ones will be helped, while the rest neglected, not for all needy. Just let the rich to boost about their own achievement act to be heroes and noble to save the poor, for their good reputation! While the poor stand aside and act humble!
I had called ComCare for financial assistant in 2009, on February. They referred me to CDC that my mum had been approached for help in 2008, and both of us did meet the requirements stated. I approached for help with required documents. But replied with the same letters for both of us, our application was unsuccessful, not eligible for any of the financial assistant schemes by CDC. When asked for reason they just put in voice mail! I thought maybe was my mum till working and we had our owned HDB flat. So they won’t help! Just want us to become worst at a state, ended up selling our property and become homeless! It happened to people who lived in Singapore and will happen to anyone and me someday!
I met a Muslim, she recommended me to seek financial assistant at CDC, but I decided to give up because my family had been rejected twice, in 2008 and 2009! We both were belonged to low income group but she had 3 children. She had monthly allowance given and her children had free education, though she and her husband were both working! A true rumor from people I had heard from the past when I was teen. I ignored because I don’t listen to rumors unless I had personally experience it. I should be a terrorist to destroy this city, not them, as everything didn’t seem fair and square to me. How I wish I will never be born in Singapore. Even I have to I rather to be born that racial that can benefit a lot among other races in Singapore. And that might be the main reason, they can flourish well their offspring increase their own population!
When government said they will help the needy, only care for those who are selected, give them trainings or assistants or free PCs, but it weren’t truly come true to me at all, it hurt a lot. Aren’t we belonging to the low income group? Singapore seems to encouraging suicides in a way without giving a right assistant help! Wonder is that the reason people always feeling depress, commit suicide or even turned crazy and all sort of negative things happening around. It seems like people living in Singapore like to see people die or ended up in a miserable state! I hated this city, Singapore Pledge. It’s so ironic. There’s no equality, empty promise among the poor, not benefiting large pool of poor people at all!
From these incidents, I learn not to care, concern anymore that I use to be in the past, so naive believing toward everything I see, believing in justice or equality. I learn not to be kind anymore to help or donate money, because when bad time came I approached them for help, but they didn’t came forward to give me any assistant and rejected me in such a way! I’m doubt where the money truly goes to? If I want to help, I won’t donate money mindlessly to organization or any association that doesn’t seem to be true helping the needy. Because they always use the weak, the dead, and all mindless idiots to earn money! Or just scams!
If I can I should have mentioned it long time ago, just because I’m poor, don’t have PCs network, it delayed my learning states and disconnected from the world. I earned by my own, working blood and sweat jobs!
Why should there be selected to survive? While the rest left to died or face theirs own problems! Why some people could get benefits so easily even they’re well-off than me? Is it from the rental income or other associates, I don’t know in Singapore? Or just look at colors, races or religions! Or only care for those who have more children!
Just don’t get it why people give birth, though they belonged to the low income group. Don’t they care about their children happiness and their needs? Or they’re just like animals with animal mind’s sex, and/or with selfish motive acts use their children as tools for their own future needs? Or they’re just simply like to have children. Don’t they feel any shame continue a life like that! When I asked my mother why she gave birth to me? What was her purpose? That really pissed her off, that go again she said “something went wrong with my brain!”
Sometime I’ll be evil, learned from the evils who had discouraged me, imitated them discouraged my mum to live on! Let us die together since no one will care of our needs! Just want to stop suffering, want people and this city shame for letting people die in tragedies way! But we have different mindsets can’t be force each other to accept!

She never give up, she takes the responsibility care of her young and family, though her partner had left her to deal with the problems herself! But she’s poor can’t give her young any things! That what I hated most!
